Ralston Foods is the leading manufacturer of Store Brand breakfast cereals. In fact, we have been making cereal for more than 100 years. We currently supply over 50 ready-to-eat and hot cereal varieties. Our products are available in grocery outlets throughout the U.S. and are typically sold under a respective retailer's private label or store brand name. While our products compare favorably to the national brands relative to taste, appearance and nutritional content, they typically cost consumers about 25% less than the national brands.

Ralston Foods - Battle Creek

Ralston Foods’ Battle Creek has a history that can be traced back well over a hundred years ago. Battle Creek was home to the cereal boom and over 80 companies produced cereal in the early 1900’s and in 1927 became part of Ralston Purina Company of St. Louis, Missouri. In 1994, Ralston Purina spun off its cereal manufacturing and Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. was created. After General Mills purchased all of its branded products from Ralston Foods in 1997, the Battle Creek facility strictly focused on producing store brand cereal.

Currently, the Battle Creek facility is still flourishing and includes the following product lines: Raisin Bran Flakes, Enriched Bran Flakes, Crispy Hexagons, Corn Biscuits, Rice Biscuits, Whole Grain 100, Wheat Squares, Honey Nut Biscuits, Essentially You, Essentially You with Berries, Natural Rice and Natural Corn products.

The facility is located at 150 S. McCamly St. in downtown Battle Creek. The city of Battle Creek has developed extensively over the years and thrives on strong entrepreneurial philosophy. The philosophy incorporates entertainment, art, and culture to create an atmosphere that is relaxed and visually appealing.
